We are a professional company dealing in services rather than in products. It was the necessity that compelled us to get involved in a software dealership. None of the middle priced software used in Sri Lanka by our medium size clients could handle some of the commonly demanded features such as multiple warehouses. We noted (a big gap) between what is demanded in the market and those available and the arrangement to apply for dealership for the new software was more of fulfilling a market need.

Two of our senior consultants had personal experience in working with this software during their overseas assignments and were well aware of the capability of (Penygon) to penetrate the Sri Lankan market. The software company did not have any hesitation in accepting the request from us to be their distributor in Sri Lanka for (Penygon business solutions). We have made several (test runs) in Sri Lanka before we offered the software to our clients.

Their software package which is a complete business solution to handle, trading, manufacturing, project based or even construction industries has a very strong presence in the Middle East. It has very strong inventory management capabilities. Penygon is geared to handle the motor spares inventory of the Saudi Arabian agent of US giant car manufacturer General Motors and a super market managed by US chain ( Safeway). It is also handling the accounting of the international fast food giant McDonalds' in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
